Anyone who is familiar with the famous Google robot – Googlebot, know how important it is to be able to understand the language of robots to protect your site. Not all, however, is a knowledgeable in the language arts talking robot.
It can be intimidating for some site owners when thinking they must learn to use the language, but there are tools available to help the smaller robot savvy communicators. Most of us have probably engaged the services of Googlebot to protect the parts and sections of our sites that we would not have invaded. Those who are familiar with the use of robots.txt language can only fire off a file to him and he will always deliver what we need. There is a new Webmaster tools available, which acts as a translator or robot.txt files. It helps you to build the file to use, and all you have to do is to indicate the areas where you do not want robots to crawl through. 2. Remember that the robot text files is only one way to request that your site be protected against robots review. You just need to generate the file, but that some robots, which are not as closely as others, they may choose to ignore the file and get in. Make sure that you use the password protection option to protect the files you need blocked.
